How many branches of physics are there to learn?
Hello there, @socialm8! I wish I had finished my BST-Physics, lol. Anyway, there are several branches of Physics. If you are majoring Physics, you will learn these different branches. Here are they: 1. Astrophysics – This branch deals with the physics of the universe. 2. Atomic and molecular physics – a branch of Physics that deals with the structure and characteristics of atoms and molecules. 3. Biophysics – a branch that deals with the application of of the laws of Physics to life processes. 4. Condensed-matter (solid-state) physics – a branch of Physics which deals with the macroscopic physical properties of matter. 5. Cosmology – A branch of Physics that’s closely related to astrophysics. Only that cosmology focuses on the study of the universe as a whole, the interactions of its contents and the evolution. 6. Geophysics – a branch that deals on the physical characteristics and properties of the Earth. 7. Mechanics – this branch of Physics deals with the motion of bodies in a frame
