How many book reports are required in fourth grade?
Eighteen book reports are required. The books read should be appropriate for fourth graders. Twelve fiction and 6 nonfiction books are needed to receive a Reading Circle Certificate. The book reports are taken on the computer using the Scholastic Reading Counts program. A student must answer 8 out of 10 questions correctly to pass the book report. A fiction book must have a minimum of 50 pages and a nonfiction books need to have 32 pages.
