In human spine overall there are 33 bones which are: cervical = 7 thorax = 12 lumbar = 5 coccyx = 4 sacrum = 5 However, the four coccygeal bones fused to form 1 bone and five sacral bones also fused into 1 bone. This makes the total of 26 bones in human spine.
