How many boat slips will be requested upon development of Rosegill?
No more than one (1) sailing/yacht club with community piers may be developed. (To be located as shown on Exhibit E, Rosegill Master Plan.) Virginia Marine Resources Commission (VMRC) specifically regulates and approves the number and extent of boat slips based on the linear waterfront of the property. The number of homes has absolutely no impact on the number of slips that may be made available. Regulations have become stricter over the years. A public hearing before the VMRC is required as part of the approval process.
