How many assignments are there? What format do they take?
For each of the three study courses – Understanding Learners in FE, Facilitating Learning in FE, and Professional Issues in FE – there is one assignment which may have more than one part and which is approximately equivalent to 3000 words in total. The actual tasks vary depending on whether you are studying at level 9 (Degree route) or level 11 (Masters route). For the Teaching Experience in FE course, you must submit a Teaching Log and a brief Teaching Experience Agreement form. Your teaching will also be observed on two occasions and a report will be sought from your Line Manager.
