How many applications are usually received?
The number varies annually; however, the number of applications reviewed is usually far fewer. For example, of the applications received last year, only about half of the applications were reviewed. The other half were deemed ineligible because they did not follow the grant application instructions. Common mistakes that can make an application ineligible include not adhering to the specified font size, not double spacing all text in the application (including charts and graphs), surpassing the page limit or budget limitations, etc. All applicants are strongly encouraged to read and strictly follow the grant instructions.
