How many applications are received and how competitive is acceptance?
The department receives a large volume of completed applications annually. Although the number may vary, approximately 330 applications for the class beginning in May 2009 were received. Applications are welcome regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, veteran status, or disability.
