How many and what kind of fundraisers do the STARS do to raise money for their teams?
The STARS typically require the players and parents to assist with a few fundraisers each year. These have included lottery tickets, raffles, bingos, dances, hosting tournaments, etc. In most cases the fundraisers require a minimal amount of time on the part of the players and parents, but provide much needed revenues to keep the program operating successfully.
