An actor may work on film #1 from March to July of 2005 and work on film #2 from September to February 2006. Depending on so many things such as the necessary post-production time needed for editing and special effects and well as optimum release dates and theater availability both films could easily be released at the same time during the Christmas season of 2006. Each film is a seperate work and takes it’s own time length. When they land in the theaters has little relation to when they were filmed. I’ve even known films to be shelved and then the lead actor becomes a much bigger star so the film is dusted off and released. A film like that might have been made 4 or more years earlier. Your question seems to assume that because the actor couldn’t film the two movies at the same time that they couldn’t be shown in theaters at the same time. That just isn’t the case.
