How many academic courses should I enrol in?
A full-time course load at the University of New Brunswick is 12 credit hours or 4 courses. Students may register for up to 21 credit hours. However, students must remember that for every hour spent in class, two hours should be spent outside of class studying. This means a student, who is taking 12 credit hours, should spend at least 36 hours a week in class and studying. Students who have difficulty comprehending the English language should reserve more time for study.
