How many 6-foot round banquet tables can I fit in a 1500 sq ft room?
You could comfortably fit 15 tables into this area. Each table takes up approx. 28.3 square feet. You allow an extra 3 feet to the diameter of each table for the movement of the chairs in and out. You then allow about 2 to 3 ft for a clear walk space between tables, so the theoretical diameter is actually 9ft. +/-. Now allow for side tables, and other ornaments, as well as easy ingress and egress and you have approx. 10 square feet per table. Therefore, you can comfortably fit 12 to 15 tqbles into an area of 1500 square feet!
