You cannot simply say if we had better technology. Technology does not win battles both now or during World War 2. “Generals demand both slaughter and manouvere, the greater the General the more manouvere he uses, the less he demands in slaughter.” (Goes something like that). It is how you utilise technology. More importantly it is your soldiers who win battles. The average German soldier was better trained and just as well equipped in most if not all aspects or more and utilised their equipment better (in some aspects) especially when their production was so below the combined effort of the Allies. (For years they had less to work with than us but fought just as hard and sometimes even won. Humans are very good at adapting to situations and environments etc which they continually did and possibly would have been able to do again). We won the war by pure weight of numbers. If we had had the same amount of soldiers and the same amount of equipment etc we would have lost in a heartbeat.
