Citalopram is not addictive but there may be some withdrawal as your brain chemistry reverts to its usual state. This may take a week or two. No anti depressant should be stopped suddenly as the depression may kick in again.

I was on it for a few months, had enough and decided to quit suddenly without cutting down. I had proper bad nightmares and felt a spaced out for a week and then I was fine. People get different withdrawal symptoms and it would probably depend on how long you were on it for how long the withdrawal symptoms lasted. Plus what strength you were on.
