Sod is a living perishable item and should be installed as soon as delivered, however as a general rule it will retain its freshness for no longer than 12 hours. If you are unable to lay your sod within this time, make sure it is stored in a shady location and laid as soon as possible. YOUR SOD IS A LIVE PERISHABLE PRODUCT AND MUST BE RE-HYDRATED TO SURVIVE!!!
