How long will the schools run on charity/donations?
RDF operates only in rural areas to help the underprivileged children break their bonds with poverty through high quality education. Consequently until such time these areas achieve the requisite level of economic well-being, RDF will continue to have the responsibility to support these schools. It is hoped that the students coming out of the RDF system, will take it upon themselves to pay their debt to the alma mater, just as the founder members feel they are paying their debt to the soil. We already have the evidence of the first of such students willing to support RDF from the five figure salaries that they are earning now.
