How long will the process take to transfer a domain to my website account?
The domain transfer process can take as long as 4 to 5 weeks depending on the registrar. Please note that the majority of this time is due to external dependencies beyond our control, and there is often no way to shorten this waiting period. The majority of domain transfers will be completed sooner than this, however, and please be assured that we will contact you immediately if a problem or delay arises with your domain transfer. Warning:Because the domain transfer process requires both the new registrar and current registrar to contact each other and process these requests , your domain name might become inoperable for up to 2 weeks.
