We hope to be able to provide a UNLV-branded Gmail account for as long as you would like it. Google promises free e-mail for life and has indicated to us that UNLV students will be able to keep a UNLV-branded account as long as they like. However, we have no contractual commitment from Google that requires them to do so and Google indicates that they have not worked out the details of what will be provided to students after graduation in the future. Google could change their policy at any time, stop offering Gmail altogether, or even go completely out of business. We will continue conversations with Google about this topic.
