How long will the migration process take?

Each computer migration is a unique process, therefore, we cannot predict exactly how long each individual migration will take. Some of the factors that affect the speed of the migration are: • The size of your profile • The number of profiles migrated on the computer • The hardware configuration of the computer in regards to speed and response time If you would like to determine the size of your user profile, do the following: • Click Start • Right-click on “My Computer” • Select Properties • In the “System Properties” window, click the Advanced tab • Click the Settings button under User Profiles • In the “User Profile” window, search for your username to find the size of your current user profile Note: During testing it was found that the migration process took about one and a half hours on a three-year-old machine containing one 600MB profile.
