How long will the hair straightening last?
Treated hair will remain straight forever and will not become curly or wavy again, although you may style it adding curls or body with hot rollers or a curling iron, but with the kind of curls You Want to have! New growth that appears in the months following the Straightening will need to be straightened again. New growth usually needs to be straightened 6 to 12 months after the initial straightening, but, depending upon the texture, I have clients who do not need a retouch for as long as 18 months.
