How long will the glass cutting head last?
The glass cutting head is virgin carbide, and it will last a very long time. How long they will stay “sharp” really depends on how often you cut, and how often you oil the cutter and how well you take care of it. People who only cut glass occasionally will NEVER have to replace the cutting head!! Folks who are crafters might replace the cutting head maybe once every year or two, depending on how often they use the tool.
