How long will the cakes remain fresh and is refrigeration required?
Our cakes will last up to one year without refrigeration. Each cake has a freshness date stamped on the back. Refrigeration is not necessary, however it is recommended after the air-tight seal on your package has been broken. If you’d like to store an opened Horton’s cake for a prolonged period we recommend refrigeration with the lid locked for best results. Serve at room temperature or pop into the microwave for 10-20 seconds just to warm it before serving.
