B to C series transition is as follows: Q4 2004: C Series rollout Mar. 1, 2005: B Series price increase. Mar. 2005 – Feb. 2006: Soft transition from B to C Jan. 2006: 13 SEER goes into effect July 1, 2006: B Series price increase. No new ARI numbers issued on B series. Oct. 1, 2006: B Series price increase. Jan. 1, 2007: B Series price increase. Mar. 2007: B series obsoleted. All ARI reference numbers removed from the ARI Directory.
