How long will the adoption home study process take?
Generally, the home study process takes between 3 and 6 months. Much is dependent on how quickly the applicants complete and submit paperwork, as well as the completion of the initial training/preparation classes. Once an application is submitted, a Lilliput social worker will work closely with you to help you through the process.
