• Who knows. It’s already millions and millions of years old so hopefully a bit longer. Seriously, it’s not possible to tell how long the text will last on slate or any other stone. Eventually it will weather away but hopefully not for years and years. Weather conditions will have an effect – slate placed near the cosat will more likely weather faster than a more sheltered place inland.
