How long will Rimwax last?
One application of Rimwax should last for several hundred miles, it is impossible to accurately predict a time scale or mileage as there are a lot of factors to be considered. The road conditions, the time of year, the driving style (fast and late braking etc). We estimate that an average motorist doing average mileage with varied road conditions should expect to get approximately six weeks/ 1200/1500 miles without the need to reapply, this would require maintenance washing with a shampoo/wash wax or water. Rimwax should be treated like the wax used on the body panels, when it stops beading it require more to be applied. One tin of rimwax (256gm) should last an average motorist 12-18 months.
