As stated above, our Premium Dry Roasted Wild Rice® contains virtually no moisture and therefore has an almost indefinite shelf life. However, we’ve blended our wild rice with some of the best quality grains, fruits, nuts and other rices available. The moisture content and composition of these other items in the blends alters the shelf life of the Blends and Medleys. Care is taken to package the blends and seasonings in special moisture and light barrier packaging immediately after they’re hand blended, and a shelf life of about 12 months is recommended.
