How long will my indoor environment stay clean from contaminants?
It depends. As long as you can control the conditions which led to the problem in the first place, the indoor environment should remain safe. Future cases of water intrusion such as a roof leak (potential mold contamination) and/or sewage backups (potential bacteria contamination, etc.) may result in conditions that could again become favorable to re-contamination. Preventive measure should be taken to lessen the chance of re-contamination.
