How long will my application (for initial registration or extension to scope) take to process and be approved?

Quality Directorate recommends that organisations allow at least three (3) months from the time the application is lodged to the time when the qualifications/courses can be offered. The time taken to process an application depends on several factors: for example the size of the application, completeness, whether a site audit is necessary, availability of appropriate auditors and RTO staff at mutually convenient times and whether any non-compliances requiring rectification are identified during the audit. There are no guarantees or promises for having an application approved by a particular date. Naturally, Quality Directorate will endeavour to process applications as quickly as possible.
