How long will micropigmentation last?
The subtle and natural colors used on the face do fade over time, and periodic maintenance and touch-ups may be required for best results. Sun exposure may also lighten pigment prematurely (and cause premature wrinkles!) so we encourage the use of sunscreen, hats and sunglasses to limit UV damage and keep your skin looking its best. Salt water and chlorine can also lighten skin pigment. Touch-ups usually take less time than the initial procedure, and are typically needed at 2 to 5 year intervals.
