How long will logs sit on the boulevard?
Elm logs are a priority and are picked up as soon as possible, normally the same day they are cut. Logs from other species of trees are also picked up as soon as possible. How long after the pruning is complete will brush be picked-up?Under normal conditions, brush will be picked up the same day pruning is done. There may be occasions when there may be a backlog of chipping because of an abnormal workload (eg. storm damage/chipper break down). In these circumstances, the brush will be picked up as soon as possible. Note: When a brush pile is near an overhead power line, it may be a pile left by the Saskatoon Light & Power. Residents may call 975-2414 to inquire when it will be picked up. Who cleans up the brush in back lanes? When Saskatoon Light & Power or SaskPower completes tree work, they are responsible for the clean up. Private brush piles are the responsibility of the property owner.
