How long will latex last?
You should be able to expect your latex puppet to last between 3 and 10 years if you take reasonable care of it. I have some that are over 25 years old. Like all organic substances it will eventually degrade because of ozone and ultraviolet rays. We have the highest quality ingredients in Axtell latex that makes it stronger and longer lasting than most latexes. Eventually your puppet’s latex will break down and you may need a head replacement. We help our customers with this by offering a very fair 1/3 cost head replacement for Axtell puppets. That is, if a new puppet costs $100, we can eventually replace the head for only $33.30 plus shipping.
