How long will it take to process my request?
Once your form is received, your request can take up to 5 business days to process, plus mailing time. For studies undertaken prior to 1981, the standard processing time is up to 2 weeks, or for the amalgamated colleges, up to 3 weeks, plus mailing time. If you require your Academic Transcript quickly, we advise that you visit the Student Centre in person (post-1981 only). Due to the quantity of requests received, it is usually not possible to expedite requests.
Under the FOI Act, the House of Lords has a duty to reply to your request and to provide the information, unless it is subject to an exemption, within 20 working days. Working days are defined as Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and other public holidays. In some cases, where an exemption may apply, the process might take slightly longer.
