How long will it take to process my claim for Housing or Council Tax benefit?
Your Housing/Council Tax Benefit claim will be dealt with within 14 days wherever possible as long as you have supplied ALL the evidence required to complete your claim. If you have not supplied the information required we will be unable to process your claim. But as long as you supply the evidence within 28 days after the date we receive your claim, then we will try to deal with it within 14 days after we receive the last piece of evidence to complete your claim.
