How long will it take to process an application for financial aid?

The processing of financial aid can be completed within three weeks, if students complete their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Financial Aid) online. You may apply to fafsa.ed.gov. Otherwise the application process takes about four to five weeks. Applicants are encouraged to apply for financial aid during the admissions process, rather than waiting until they have been admitted into a program. The sooner you apply, the sooner you will know what your award will be. Yyour funds will not arrive until you need to register for the program.
