How long will it take to obtain a company license?

If your application is complete, it will take about three to four weeks. Please do not call to check the status of your application for at least 15 days. If your application is not complete, there is no way to reliably estimate how long it will take to get your license. Deficiencies will be placed on the application in the NMLS, which will ask you to provide the items listed within a certain time frame. You will receive an e-mail from the NMLS indicating that we have placed the deficiencies. You will need to log into the NMLS to see what the deficiencies are. The faster you provide those items, the sooner the Oregon Division of Finance and Corporate Securities will issue your license.
