For a typical sized hardwood floor (300-500 square feet) it will take about 4 days to install and finish a new floor, or about 2 days to refinish an existing floor. You will only need to be out of the house for about a day when the sealer is applied. A-MAX Hardwood uses a quality water-based top coat that is dry enough to walk on only 2 hours after application.
