How long will it take to implement the Acumen – nEHR?
Implementation depends on the technical and organizational preparedness of your practice as well as the availability of your staff to complete initial data gathering. Once the practice has the appropriate resources in place the practice begins an intake process to provide additional organizational information to HITSG that is necessary for the implementation phase (which includes identifying users, outlining organization, etc.). Upon completion of the intake process, in a typical implementation the practice can expect to be using the nEHR within eight weeks. It can take an additional six to eight weeks to prepare the practice management and lab interfaces.
