How long will it take to complete the self-study course?
This course will take approximately 54 hours to complete. Participants can expect to spend approximately 3 hours working on each Session. This time includes: • Reviewing printed learning materials, watching video taped sessions and completing written learning activities. • Participating in follow-up learning activities such as observing children in your child care centre. • Phoning your tutor to discuss your progress. Participants in the Self-Study course will be provided learning materials in three batches. The next batch of learning materials will not be sent until the exercises from the previous batch have been evaluated by a tutor and the participant has returned the videos from the completed sessions.
