How long will it take my black eye to heal?
It usually lasts about 1 to 2 weeks. If make up fails to hide the black eye you can consider covering your eye with a bandage and if people ask just tell them that you hurt your eye and need to keep it protected for a week or two. You may even wish to make up some story of how you hurt your eye. For an eye bandage you can use a medical eye pad or gauze pad secured with surgical tape. Close your eye and place the pad over the eye and secure lightly with tape.
