How long will it take for the Railway Recruitment Board to conduct the written examinations?
Normally the first examination is conducted in about four months’ time from the closing date of the notification. Most of the examinations can be expected to be completed in about 10-12 months time. The priority for various categories is laid down depending upon the urgency of filling the posts, priorities of the indenting Railways etc. The schedule of the written examination is notified in the leading news papers about a month advance of the examination date apart from being displayed on the website.
