Highway defects and defective street furniture will receive attention within 24 hours or 30 working days depending on the level of severity of the defect. Some defects such as cracked paving which are not hazardous but may appear unsightly are not necessarily repaired as a matter urgency. This type of defect is monitored at regular intervals as part of the council’s routine inspections of the adopted highway.
