How long will it take for Effexor to get out of my system?
I was on Effexor for 2 weeks but it made me feel very dizzy. My doctor stopped it and started me on 10mg of Buspar per day. I stopped taking the Effexor 3 days ago. Anyone know how long the Effexor will take to get out of my system? yes the doctor just stopped me and started me on the other. i’m not experiencing any of the so called “brain-shivers”. I actually feel better since stopping it. A: It takes a long time to get out of your system. Did you just stop? How many mg. were you on? You may want to supplement with amino acids – 5 HTP and L Tyrosine untill the “brain shivers” go away. The amino acids increase serotonin, norepinephrin & dopamine naturally.
