How long will it take for a case to come to the Employment Tribunal?
Usually about six months from the date of filing the application. But it may be a shorter period, or much longer, depending on the Tribunal at which it is listed, and the complexity of the case. The legislation that came into effect in October 2004 is designed to divert cases away from Employment Tribunals, so waiting times may eventually shorten.
