How long will it be before robots build a habitat for humans on Mars?
That’s a hard question to answer, but if any of us had to take our best guess we think perhaps 50 years or more. Since we have only begun to send robots to Mars (the first being the Mars Pathfinder mission), I think we need to collect as much information as possible about Mars before we start sending humans to Mars. By sending our robots to Mars, we can find out a lot of information from pictures taken by the robot and data taken by sensors on the robot.
