How long will imapsync take to migrate a user?
We have tested and clocked imapsync at moving around 500 MB of mail an hour between our server and calmail. You can use this as a guide when figuring how long it will take to move someone. Remember, this is actual space used, not simply quota, unless of course, their quota is full or very close to it. This speed can be sustained for multiple users being migrated at the same time. The majority of our users use under 1 GB of email, we will be getting some reports up for what users are using exactly what amount of space, but the majority should be able to be done in around two hours. We will be scheduling with large quota users >4 GB that will have to be done overnight or over a weekend.
