A18: FNOD has six source areas that we know have problems that are being cleaned up. After these are cleaned up, they can be de-listed individually. There are also 21 other Areas of Concern (AOCs) that need to be sampled to determine what other contamination may be present. They are not part of the NPL until a problem is identified. If there is a problem, these areas can also be de-listed as they are cleaned up.
