How long will FlexRadio Systems support the SDR-1000?
FlexRadio Systems will continue to support and service the SDR-1000 hardware for the foreseeable future. It will continue to be supported by a version of FlexRadio PowerSDR indefinitely. We will perform ECOs as appropriate and warranty/non-warranty repair on the hardware for the foreseeable future. The SDR-1000 is and continues to be a very high performance / low cost transceiver. It is still one of the best radios available. FlexRadio PowerSDR will continue to support the SDR-1000 and will continue to receive new features and performance enhancements over time. There will be only one version of FlexRadio PowerSDR for all FlexRadio Systems SDRs. While there are hardware features on the FLEX-5000 family that are not on the SDR-1000, many of the planned software feature and performance enhancements will apply to both. Coming improvements in FlexRadio PowerSDR software will apply to the SDR-1000 and are a DIRECT result of work done for the FLEX-5000 family, such as the recent improvement
