How long will each infusion visit last?
The first visit includes the all start of care information (medical history, patient assessment, patient and family education, reconstitution of medication, and infusion of medication). Subsequent visits usually take approximately 30-40 minutes which will include a short patient assessment and medication administration. Our nurses will contact the family the night before each visit to schedule and confirm a time most convenient for the family.
