How long will DaVinci roof tiles resist color fade?
We have paid special attention to this issue. In fact, it took us several years to develop and test our proprietary engineered polymer. Our UV protection has shown outstanding performance both in the lab and on roofs. During testing in our accelerated weathering chambers, DaVinci Slate and Shake have shown virtually no perceptible fading after more than 5,000 hours of UV exposure. Field tests confirm these results. We are the only manufacturer to offer the optional Renaissance finish which is a patented coating system that utilizes Kynar to provide an additional layer of UV protection.
