How long will bruising and swelling last?
Non-surgical or office-based procedures often involve little or no bruising. Postoperative bruising and swelling from surgical procedures begins to resolve by the end of the first week. Full resolution of bruising or swelling may take one to three weeks, and varies from person to person. Bruises may be camouflaged fairly easily with makeup such as a concealer stick.
